Now that fall has officially started, it’s officially Pumpkin Spice season at Starbucks! You can celebrate the beautiful 60 degree weather with delicious new drinks and bakery items. From warm lattes to pumpkin muffins, Starbucks is the perfect place to stop for a delicious fall treat.
During the fall months, if you’re craving something sweet but also salty, try the Salted Caramel Mocha. This drink includes toffee nut syrup blended with mocha sauce, and combined with milk and espresso. If you’re not a coffee person but are loving the sound of this drink you can always ask your barista for no espresso. This drink is topped with whipped cream, salted caramel topping and lastly caramel drizzle. Like most drinks at Starbucks, it is available, iced, hot, or as a frappuccino.
The new drink this year is the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew. This is the first pumpkin flavored cold brew Starbucks has offered, and many are very excited. This drink is created with the Starbucks cold brew, vanilla and pumpkin cream, cold foam, and the pumpkin spice topping.
Last but certainly not least of the starbucks fall drinks, the most popular of Starbucks fall drinks: the pumpkin Spice Latte. This year will be the 16th year of this delicious drink. This drink is one of the only few with real pumpkin in it! The pumpkin flavor is accompanied with milk and espresso. This drink also has clove, nutmeg and cinnamon mixed into it! Of course, you can forget to top this drink off with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. This drink, just like the Salted Caramel Mocha, can be made into a frappuccino, iced, or hot drink.
Starbucks also offers many fall treats that aren’t just drinks. First off, the Pumpkin cream cheese muffin. This muffin, just like the Salted Caramel Mocha drink, is the perfect sweet and salty mix. This muffin is pumpkin-based with cream cheese on top, and sprinkled with delicious caramelized pepitas.
Another fun fall treat is the cat cake pop. There is a soft vanilla cake on the inside, and white chocolate icing on the outside. The best part is that it is decorated to look like a cat!
Lastly, the pumpkin scones! These scones are topped with sweet vanilla icing and a little drizzle of pumpkin spice. They are amazing!
Next time you’re craving a fall drink or treat, remember to stop at starbucks for the delicious taste of fall.
