It’s no secret that COVID-19 has changed every aspect of life over the past month. But the sports world has been hit extremely hard. Everything has been either postponed or canceled, which includes the NCAA Tournament. But what other measures are being taken and

As stated before everything has been either postponed or canceled however, UFC and The WWE are still happening just without fans. But other than that there have been no sporting events happening. As of right now 2020 Summer Olympics and The NFL Draft are still to go on as planned but that could all change. The draft has been said that it could occur over the course of seven days instead of three but, as of now there are no plans to extend it.

The average sports fan has not run out of things to watch or pay attention to. The offseason for the NFL has been crazy. Tom Brady has left New England and many other stars have gone to new teams. There has also been a good number of stars who have been released from the franchise such as Cam Newton. Newton won the MVP in 2015 and took the Panthers to the Super Bowl that year losing to the Denver Broncos. But as the offseason quickly dies down, things will probably get really slow.

ESPN has done their part to stay relevant. They have been replaying many of the iconic and thrilling events from over the years. But their most exciting thing that they did was move the release date of the heavily awaited Michael Jordan documentary entitled: “The Last Dance”. It’s a ten part documentary set to release on April nineteenth. The doc will show Jordan and his teammates though his last season in 1998 where there was allegedly a lot of drama.

Now with the virus happening and people social distancing, sports are coming to a standstill. However there is still a good for fans to look forward to or rewatch to try and entertain themselves during this difficult time.
